Fire in the sky
As the sun rose over the mountains that surround Loch Carron, in the highlands of Scotland, I was drawn to the dawn rays that shot out through the valleys as shafts of red light, like a fire in the distance.
Mushroom Cloud
I stood on the shores of the Isle of Skye as a rainbow appeared out of the sea and lit up the world around. Layers of dark clouds in the distance formed a backdrop that made the rainbow appear even stronger, and almost out of nowhere a cloud appeared to form into the shape of a mushroom. For a few minutes I watched in sheer amazement.
